Overview
The fourth generation Sylphy was unveiled on 16 April 2019 at the 18th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition. The Sentra-badged version was unveiled at the 2019 Los Angeles Auto Show. The 2.0-liter MR20DD replaces the 1.8-liter MRA8DE engine from the previous generation. A manual transmission option is not offered in the United States, but a manual version is sold in Canada. The 1.6-liter HR16DE is still available in some Asian markets. For the Sentra marketed in the Americas, an independent rear suspension replaces the torsion beam rear suspension found in the past three generation Sentras.
