Fleet Commander Explained
Fleet Commander ($19.99/month) is designed for operators managing 5+ vehicles or running regular import cycles. It adds the tools that make fleet-scale operations profitable rather than just manageable.
Who Fleet Commander serves
Fleet Commander is the tier for: commercial fleets switching to EVs, vehicle dealers running regular import cycles from Japan, companies managing company car programs across multiple employees, and importers doing 3+ transactions per year.
New tools vs Elite Pilot
Container Tetris (single-vehicle preview) — See container space utilization for your specific vehicle before booking. The preview shows whether your vehicle pairs well with another for container-sharing economics.
Automated Expense Reporting — Fleet expense reporting with Section 179 (US), UK BiK, and German AfA depreciation schedule support. Exports in standard accounting formats.
Tax Lens — Depreciation schedule modeling for the specific tax regime of your fleet’s home country. Different from generic depreciation calculators — Tax Lens accounts for EV-specific incentive structures that apply differently to fleet vs individual use.
Guardian Hub Directory — Emergency services directory: roadside assistance, battery recovery, legal contacts, and towing services across all 8 WATTSHIP markets. Particularly valuable for operators in markets where Japanese EV support infrastructure is still developing.
Quota upgrades
SOH Insight: 3/month (Elite) → 15/month (Fleet Commander). Running 5 SOH checks per vehicle purchase cycle still leaves 10 reports for monitoring existing fleet health.
Auction Sheet Decipher: 1/month (Elite) → 5/month (Fleet Commander). Covers 5 auction evaluations per month — enough for consistent buying activity without batching.
Commission rate
Fleet Commander: 3.5% — same as Elite Pilot. The real value over Elite at this tier is in the fleet management tools, not the commission rate. The commission differential becomes more significant at Container Club scale.
