An EV's rated range is measured at about 21°C. Almost nobody drives at 21°C. A car that comfortably covers a commute in Yokohama can fall short of the same commute in Oslo in February — not because the battery is worn, but because the cabin heater is drawing from it. This reads the live forecast where the car is going and turns it into the range you will actually have.
