The third-generation Tourneo Connect for the European market was released in October 2021 as a rebadged fourth-generation Volkswagen Caddy. In 2020, it was planned to launch The Caddy-based Transit Connect to Australasia in the second quarter of 2024. The new Caddy-based Transit Connect has been released in the UK and Europe in late 2024.
